Carrasco International Airport has distinguished itself by being named the best airport in Latin America and the Caribbean for terminals handling up to 2 million passengers annually.

This prestigious recognition from the Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Award underscores the airport’s commitment to enhancing passenger experience.

The award, presented by Airports Council International (ACI), is grounded in feedback collected from over 700,000 international travelers.

This robust approach ensures that the ranking reflects the real experiences of passengers who use the facility.

Federico Cabrera, the Operations and Experience Manager at Aeropuertos Uruguay, highlighted the collective effort behind this achievement.

He noted that this honor is a testament to the hard work of the entire airport community, which includes public agencies, airlines, and service providers dedicated to optimizing every aspect of the passenger journey.
