These accreditations contribute to the strengthening of food sovereignty and promoting responsible and quality production.

Four Panamanian companies were certified in the agro-industrial field by the Ministry of Agricultural Development (MIDA).

These are companies dedicated to the processing and distribution of meat, milling products and chocolate processing.

The growth and strengthening of agro-industries is a fundamental step towards promoting responsible food production, ensuring high quality products for both local consumption and the international market.

According to the directors of Agro-Industries of MIDA, this certification contributes to the strengthening of food sovereignty, a key value for the social and economic development of the country.

They add that in a context where food security is crucial, companies stand out as an example of how peer, state and community collaboration can ensure access to quality products that meet market demands.

ANALADSA S.A. of the province of Veraguas, which specializes in the processing and distribution of meat, received its agro-industrial certification.

Likewise, the companies of the province of Chiriquí, JAGASA that produces milling products, and Embutidos Tony S.A., dedicated to meat processing, were also certified.
