The Honduras national team has begun preparations for the World Cup qualifiers and the Gold Cup with a focused training cycle in May.

Despite the absence of key players from Olimpia and Real Espana, all 24 called-up players attended the initial sessions at the High Performance Center with strong commitment.

Coach Reinaldo Rueda is concentrating on tactical plans ahead of the upcoming matches against the Cayman Islands and Antigua in early June.

The team also looks ahead to the Gold Cup group stage games against Canada, El Salvador, and Curacao later that month.

New talents like Luis Palma, Wesly Decas, and Romell Quito joined the squad, ready to compete for their spots. Their arrival adds fresh options as the team prepares for these important fixtures.
