El Salvador seizes a drug boat valued at $25 million and detains three Ecuadorians

A boat with about a ton of cocaine was seized by the El Salvador Navy, the government reported.

According to the authorities, the value of the seizure amounts to $25 million. This occurred at 805 nautical miles, which translates to 1,491 kilometers southwest of the Bocana El Cordoncillo, Estero de Jaltepeque.

Three persons of Ecuadorian nationality were found on the boat and placed under arrest.
