El Salvador is gaining attention as a strategic logistics hub for Türkiye’s trade with other countries.

Ali Galip Ilter, vice president of the Türkiye-Latin America and Caribbean Business Councils, emphasizes the significant potential for enhanced trade and investment opportunities in the region. His recent visit to El Salvador, accompanied by a delegation of Turkish businesspeople, aims to explore effective partnerships and investments.

During their visit, the Turkish delegation engaged with several Salvadoran officials, including the Minister of Economy and the Deputy Foreign Minister. These meetings focused on fostering economic collaboration and understanding how Türkiye can effectively leverage El Salvador’s logistical capabilities.

The discussions reflect a growing interest in strengthening ties between Türkiye and Latin America, with El Salvador positioned as a central player in international trade networks. By tapping into this potential, both nations stand to benefit from increased economic activity and investment.
