On social media, ‘Bean of Fire’ announced the start of operations of a cafeteria at the terminal run by ECA.

‘Bean of Fire’, private coffee brand of Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele, announced on social media the start of operations of a cafeteria at El Salvador International Airport.

The first ‘Boutique Bean of Fire’ is already open at San Salvador Airport, the company wrote on social media, launched by Bukele last July. The publication was accompanied by a video showing the cafeteria’s facilities inside the airplane.

The air terminal, located in San Luis Talpa, La Paz, is the main gateway to the country. Article 46 of the airport regulations states that commercial activities on the premises are carried out with the authorization of the Autonomous Port Executive Commission (CEPA).

‘Bean of Fire’ points out in its portal that the grains come from a farm located on the skirts of the Ilamatepec, in Santa Ana, where they take advantage of the world’s most fertile and mineral-rich hills.

Initially, Bukele confirmed that he had acquired a farm when he announced on July 13 that he would give coffee from his property to the Pupusería Francois, relocated to the historic center of San Salvador. On the 17th of that month, the president pledged to donate 200 pounds of coffee, plus 8,000 glasses and sugar to small businesses in different parts of the country.

From 1 January to 25 August, the airport served more than 3.5 million passengers, including arrivals, departures and connections.
