A tragic accident occurred on Monday morning when a truck collided with a bus on a highway in southern Bolivia, resulting in at least 31 fatalities.

This catastrophic event not only caused significant loss of life but also left 22 individuals injured, highlighting the dangers present on the country’s roads.
The collision sent the bus tumbling down a ravine, further underscoring the severe consequences of the incident.

Police spokesperson Limbert Choque confirmed the details, indicating that both male and female passengers were among the deceased.

As emergency services rushed to the scene, President Luis Arce took to social media to express his condolences, emphasizing the need for a thorough investigation to determine liability.

His message aimed to provide some comfort to the families of the victims during this difficult time.

The highway between Oruro and Potosi, where the collision occurred, is known for its traffic challenges.
