President Mulino asks for investigation of internet companies

Panamanians recommend opening the market to allow new companies to provide internet service and eliminate the existing monopoly.

After a failure to signal the Internet system, the President of the Republic José Raúl Mulino asked the National Public Services Authority (Asep) to take letters in the matter.

Through his X account, the president expressed his discomfort at failures in the Internet service and submitted the request to the relevant entity for the relevant investigations.

“The change from Cable Wave to SoigoPanama has been a disaster in P. Coronado,” Mulino stressed. According to the president, the signal on the site is “a terrible,” so he asked the Asep to take letters on the matter without delay.
