Un informe de la International Coalition Against Illicit Economies (ICAIE) advierte que carteles mexicanos y tr\u00edadas chinas podr\u00edan aprovechar la infraestructura para el tr\u00e1fico de drogas y lavado de dinero.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El puerto, inaugurado en noviembre de 2024 con financiamiento chino, est\u00e1 bajo el control de la empresa COSCO, que maneja sus operaciones con escasa supervisi\u00f3n externa. La baja presencia policial y la insatisfacci\u00f3n local por promesas incumplidas de empleo y desarrollo econ\u00f3mico han creado un ambiente propicio para actividades il\u00edcitas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Casos similares se han detectado en otros puertos de la regi\u00f3n operados por compa\u00f1\u00edas chinas. En Brasil, el puerto de Paranagu\u00e1 ha sido utilizado por mafias italianas y balc\u00e1nicas para el tr\u00e1fico internacional de drogas, mientras que en Panam\u00e1, el <a href=\"https:\/\/latamreports.com\/es\/port-operator-to-invest-84m-in-puerto-cortes-overhaul\/\">puerto <\/a>de Manzanillo es una de las principales rutas de entrada de coca\u00edna hacia mercados globales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El informe tambi\u00e9n se\u00f1ala que China ha reforzado su presencia en la regi\u00f3n mediante inversiones en infraestructura portuaria, lo que ha facilitado el contrabando de madera ilegal, tr\u00e1fico de especies protegidas y comercio de minerales extra\u00eddos de manera irregular. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>El puerto de Chancay, en Per\u00fa, ha generado preocupaciones por su posible uso por parte del crimen organizado.
