The first world-certified data center was opened this afternoon by President Nayib Bukele in Arce City, La Libertad Centro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The investment in what will be the second largest data center in Central America and the first in the Salvadoran territory is part of phase 2 of this economic plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Phase 2 is the technological development of El Salvador and, of course, we cannot do so without private investment as Data Trust.

“These investments in technology are part of the economic plan, which we are launching for this new five-year period,” Nayib Bukele said during the opening of DataTrust.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The CEO of Aristos Real Estate, Edwin Escobar, said they inaugurate the first data center Tier III certified commercial in the country and, with an investment of $30 million, will have public and private cloud service, storage and data security.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a key link to be able to make El Salvador the technological hub of the region.

The executive said DataTrus is the most important investment of the law that promotes technology investment and manufacturing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“For the cloud, there will be server resources, storage, networks, infrastructure management and shared monitoring services under global security standards and reliability,” Aristos Inmobiliaria said in a statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event was attended by the U.S. ambassador to El Salvador, William Duncan; the government’s Secretary of Commerce, Jorge Katt\u00e1n; the Minister of Justice and Security, Gustavo Villatoro; the Minister of Economy, Mar\u00eda Luisa Hayem; and the president of Invest, Rodrigo Ayala.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The centre has a Tier III certification from the Uptime Institute, which supports the performance and reliability of the infrastructure of the data centers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Aristos, the center was built with a class infrastructure A guarantee – the continuous operation of its services, without any fault.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
