{"id":5676,"date":"2024-06-07T16:56:17","date_gmt":"2024-06-07T16:56:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/latamreports.com\/es\/?p=5676"},"modified":"2024-06-07T16:56:18","modified_gmt":"2024-06-07T16:56:18","slug":"the-adium-group-to-invest-46m-in-pharmaceutical-plant-in-paraguay","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/latamreports.com\/es\/the-adium-group-to-invest-46m-in-pharmaceutical-plant-in-paraguay\/","title":{"rendered":"The Adium Group to invest $46M in pharmaceutical plant in Paraguay\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Adium Group announced an investment of about $46 million for the expansion of its pharmaceutical plant in Paraguay, seeking to double its production, mostly for export, to raise its workforce to about 1,000 direct jobs and create up to 300 indirect during the execution of the works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The facility, located in the town of Fernando de la Mora and belonging to the Paraguayan company Fapasa, which is part of the Adium Group, produces 33 million units a year within a portfolio of 180 diversified products in areas such as cardiology, diabetes, urology, pain, oncology and haematology, among others, according to a statement released by the company in Asunci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Production in Paraguay is 89 per cent on the export market and with the works, which would be completed between the end of 2025 and the early 2026, Fapasa plans to achieve production potential of between 70 and 100 million units per year, in addition to adding about 200 direct jobs to the current 800.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today we aim to expand further, through an important investment in the Fapasa plant.
