This Monday began the meeting XLIVof the Standing Advisory Committee 1 CCP1 of the Inter-American Telecommunications Commission of the Organization of American States (OAS).
The meeting, which will run until May 24, brings together 33 nations of the Americas, to establish lines of international cooperation to combat the digital divide and lack of access to the radio spectrum.
The meeting will also propose a strategy for the expansion of the 5G network in Panama, the region.
As part of CCP1 is planned an on-site visit of experts to the Emberá community in the Chagres to assess Panama’s developments and challenges in terms of connectivity.
