During the 18th version of the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, Huawei reaffirmed its commitment to continue working on the construction of digital infrastructure in Latin America and the Caribbean, further promoting digital transformation and sustainable development in the region, in order to achieve greater connectivity. Daniel Zhou, president of Huawei for Latin America and the Caribbean, said the new generation of information and communication technologies, such as 5G and 5.5G, is the first step towards achieving digital transformation and updating the industry.
