During the 18th version of the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, Huawei<\/strong> reaffirmed its commitment to continue working on the construction of digital infrastructure in Latin America and the Caribbean, further promoting digital transformation and sustainable development in the region, in order to achieve greater connectivity. At the same time, it reiterated its goal of protecting the natural environment and enabling more people to enjoy the benefits of digital technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Daniel Zhou, president of Huawei for Latin America and the Caribbean, said the new generation of information and communication technologies, such as 5G and 5.5G, is the first step towards achieving digital<\/strong> transformation and updating the industry. Digitization<\/strong> is accelerating in Latin America and is in a critical period of deployment of fifth generation networks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this regard, Huawei’s priorities in Latin America<\/strong> are to provide technology-leading, secure and reliable ICT infrastructure products and solutions, promote inclusive connectivity and enable people to enjoy convenient and high-quality network services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We look forward to working with local partners to further drive the process<\/strong> of digital transformation in Latin America<\/strong> through continuous technological innovation and make a greater contribution to the development of the local digital economy,” Zhou said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During a meeting with the press in the region who attend MWC, the senior executive emphasized that in the era of the digital economy,<\/strong> the cultivation and development of digital talent is particularly critical.
