However, according to the FGR, the restitution of this money has not been carried out since the conviction in 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Wednesday, December 13, the Attorney General&#8217;s Office (FGR) requested the First Civil Chamber of San Salvador to force the former president of the Supreme Court of Justice (CSJ) Agust\u00edn Garc\u00eda Calder\u00f3n to return to the State more than $230,000 for illicit enrichment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The FGR recalled that former Judge Garc\u00eda Calder\u00f3n and his wife, Gloria Natividad Valdez de Garc\u00eda, were brought to a civil trial in 2021 and that they were guilty of illicit enrichment by the Prime Chamber of Civil matters themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The former president of the CSJ and his spouse were sentenced to return $230,873.77 to the state.
