Os Correios <\/a>est\u00e3o negociando com bancos um empr\u00e9stimo de R$ 20 bilh\u00f5es. O objetivo \u00e9 enfrentar a falta de caixa e reestruturar as finan\u00e7as da estatal. A medida faz parte de um plano emergencial para recuperar a liquidez e garantir o funcionamento da empresa, que acumula 12 trimestres seguidos de preju\u00edzos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

O an\u00fancio foi feito pelo presidente Emmanoel Schmidt Rondon, que est\u00e1 no cargo h\u00e1 menos de um m\u00eas. Segundo ele, o cr\u00e9dito ainda est\u00e1 em fase de negocia\u00e7\u00e3o, mas \u00e9 considerado essencial para estabilizar as contas e manter os servi\u00e7os. \u201cPrecisamos recuperar a capacidade de pagamento e assegurar que os Correios voltem a operar com regularidade\u201d, afirmou.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Preju\u00edzo crescente e atrasos de pagamentos<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

No primeiro semestre de 2025, a estatal registrou preju\u00edzo de R$ 4,3 bilh\u00f5es. Em 2024, o valor havia sido de R$ 1,3 bilh\u00e3o. Devido \u00e0 escassez de recursos, houve atrasos em repasses para fornecedores, planos de sa\u00fade e previd\u00eancia dos empregados. Al\u00e9m disso, algumas transportadoras reduziram o ritmo de trabalho, o que afetou a entrega de encomendas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De acordo com Rondon, a crise foi agravada porque os Correios \u201cn\u00e3o se adaptaram \u00e0 nova realidade do mercado\u201d. Ele destacou que \u00e9 necess\u00e1rio modernizar o modelo de opera\u00e7\u00e3o para competir com empresas privadas de log\u00edstica e com\u00e9rcio eletr\u00f4nico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Plano de recupera\u00e7\u00e3o e corte de gastos<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

O novo plano financeiro est\u00e1 dividido em tr\u00eas frentes: redu\u00e7\u00e3o de despesas, diversifica\u00e7\u00e3o de receitas e refor\u00e7o de caixa. Entre as medidas, est\u00e3o a reabertura de um Plano de Demiss\u00e3o Volunt\u00e1ria (PDV), a venda de im\u00f3veis ociosos e a renegocia\u00e7\u00e3o de contratos com fornecedores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Al\u00e9m disso, a estatal <\/a>pretende lan\u00e7ar novos produtos e criar um marketplace pr\u00f3prio at\u00e9 o fim do ano. A inten\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 recuperar espa\u00e7o no mercado digital e ampliar as fontes de receita. O plano tamb\u00e9m prev\u00ea a capta\u00e7\u00e3o de R$ 3,8 bilh\u00f5es com o New Development Bank (NDB) para financiar investimentos internos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Conforme a dire\u00e7\u00e3o, o empr\u00e9stimo de R$ 20 bilh\u00f5es deve aliviar o caixa entre 2025 e 2026. A meta \u00e9 transformar medidas emergenciais em solu\u00e7\u00f5es permanentes e preparar os Correios para um novo ciclo de estabilidade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
